The vineyard of the Chrysostomou family is located in Pydna (Kitros) Pieria, a place with a tradition in the cultivation of the vineyard and the production of wine. Refugees from E.Romilia (North Thrake) settled in the village in 1925. They brought with them their love for the vineyard and wine things that in their former place were a very important part of their lives. In the new place, therefore, each family planted its own vineyard and made its own wine. Today, from the first small vineyard planted then by grandfather George Chrysostomou, the Chrysostomou family came to cultivate 130 acres of foreign and Greek varieties.

The varieties grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Limnionas, Xinomavro from reds and Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Malagouzia and Assyrtiko from whites. The vines are grown on sloping sandy loam soils and on hills to benefit from the sea breeze. In the area surrounded by Mount Olympus to the south, Pieria mountains to the west and the sea to the east, an ideal microclimate is formed with mild winters and cool summers with minimal rainfall. The vineyards are cultivated strictly according to the regulations of rational agricultural practice and produce grapes up to 800 kg per acre (2.5 kg per stem)
